New Grower kvs having some problems

Thanks bro, when the lights go out tonight i'll set to 12/12,will try to get some pic up to

I don't no who started all this super auto stuff but as far as im concerned there is no such thing. If you have to go 12/12than its not an auto but a photo. My KVS showed sex at three weeks and only got about three feet high.

I read on shortstuff seeds that superautos flower automatically after 4 or 5 weeks? personally i dont know, having not grown one. There is a good a bit of info on shortstuffs website regarding super's.

is also says supers take anything from 100 -120 days to go from seed to weed

Guys, there are lots of reviews and info on superautos on the net, so I think it's not fair to say they're not autos because you don't think so.
They usually start preflowers between 40 and 65 days depending on strain and conditions. The 12/12 notion is not correct, but it helps with the most sativa strains(those who grow true sativas, not hybrids, know they tend to put new flowers out even when almost done), which is unpleasant for some growers.

I guess the "single seed center" got the batch from a Flash distributor which turns out is not legit. For more info there's a thread in Stitch's subforum.
My guess is still you got a superauto and if you can, put it somewhere outside, because she will overgrow your space and not finish before 130 days.

Bal bro what is the definition of a autoflower? Do super autos mathch that discription? No they don't. Autos preflower no later than 30days 40-60 is unacceptable when it comes to a true autoflower. And I heard the 12/12 from stitch himself the "creator" of the term. Its a bogus term sweet seeds fast versions which are photos can finish Faster than some "superautos" that ain't right no photo should be done before a auto. The only breeders that could call any of their stains "superautos" would be dutch passion, people are pulling 300-1000gs of one plant in 70-80 days no change in light schedule, so called "superautos" could never do that. I'm not trying to fight with u bal u have some. Great grows and a really good person but I call it how I see and superautos are not worth the time and energy or the name. And I've seen tang grow a lot of auto sativa never once change the lights to 12/12

Whew thought i knew alittle about growing but now see that my education is just starting thanks everyone, i'll keep u posted, i have several more kvs seeds so we'll see if they act the same or as they should.

Stitch created Super Autos as an early finishing alternative to photos. They are really meant to be grown outdoors, not indoors. They generally sex at around 5 weeks and will finish in about 120 days. This is very fast outdoors when you consider that most photo strains take 150 days or longer. The idea is to have them finish before the choppers fly in the fall. The only true Supers are the ones that Stitch has breed and are sold through Flash and Short Stuff. I've tried growing some indoors with less than desirable results. While they did sex under 20 hours of light, they were too big for my spaces and took too long. I would not recommend growing them indoors. You'll get better and faster results growing regular dwarf auto strains.

In the case of this KVS, it's a dwarf auto that didn't auto, which basically means it's a photo. Had it been switch to a 12/12 light schedule earlier it would be well on it's way to finishing by now.

Hey IDS, I agree with the definition, but there is a reason the supers take longer to show sex because they're not based on the lowryder.
The delay in flowering is desirable for getting bigger plants outdoors and theoretically could be grown indoors, but as Muddy said, practically they need way more space than indoor growers are prepared to offer them.
I truly don't know which base strains are bred into superautos(have my ideas), but they seem a lot more sativa(at least the ones I'm interested in) than other commercial autos(based on lowryder).
So basically they are fast outdoor sativas for non tropical regions.

But we're offtopic now, so I'll shut up:)

they must contain a small amount of ruderalis or they would not autoflower at all??? they are just pure sativa x with a 'tadge' of ruderalis, with no trace of indica at all. thats what i think anyway :). Im sure stitches Super Cali Haze is a fine example.
