Photography La Diva

Just about to grow La Diva - have you any tips ? Nixx
I would recommend using a soil like fox farm ocean forest if you are new to growing. It has all the amendments already provided in the soil for the first 3 weeks. No need to over feed the plant with nutes. This grow was just soil, steamed bone meal at the first sign of flowering and regular watering with molasses. At 30 days I transplant to a 3 gallon soil/coco mix and only did one watering of molasses/guano tea, with regular watering and molasses to finish.

Intending to use all Biobizz. No transplant -. Like the idea of plenty of molasses and guano tea. Molasses from start?

I used molasses at the start of flowering.

I have La Diva at 8 weeks... when did you harvest? I had 5 plants and very different phenos. Two are really short and all bush. Strange looking plants for sure! Other three are pretty normal looking other than all the sugar on them. Can't wait to try them dried and cured. I am going to run them again for sure. Maybe. So many strains and so little space.

I'm thinking I harvested around the 9th week mark. With the strain being indica dominant I cut down with the majority of the trichs being cloudty to counter act the indica effects. Actually I dont recall seeing a single amber trich at all. It's definitely an easy strain to grow with a great harvest for personal use. I'll be going back to it for sure.
The pheno I had was super short and compact with dense buds.

I just checked em bout 1/2 hour ago between trick or treaters. My hood is full of those little buggers. I had to buy 7 pounds of candy but bought the cheap stuff this year. The parents shuttle them in cars to come here. Crazy.

Anyway, I'm stoned and rambling. (From Psychofruit which I recommend highly. When I checked the trichromes they were between clear and cloudy with hardly any amber. I think I may have let my past ones go too long since I tend to fall asleep after vaping. I was going by the advice on "When to harvest" which recommended waiting until all the leaves have turned color and to forget about trichrome color.

Blessedinwashington,

My ladies tend to go late into flowering without yellowing that much, so I rely on the trichs more often. And so far it hasn't failed me yet. If it aint broke dont fix it right? Into about the 3rd week of curing and the smoke is extra smooth and heady.. Sometimes trippy. The cured nugs have really green sweet leaf(some trim have alot of trichromes so I preserved as much as I could.) with tints of dark green/purple.
Let me know how that StarRyder turns out. Your grow is looking good my friend.
Keep it Verde.
