Captain Howdy
A Lost Soul
Hey folks,
Left it a bit late this year so I've decided to whip everybody up a bottle of homemade Irish Cream Liqueur (is it a liqueur??) (Baileys), and just thought I'd throw the recipe up in case there's anyone else here who's struggling for ideas
Equipment
Measuring Jug

Blender

Ingredients
Single Cream

Condensed Milk

Chocolate Syrup/Sauce

Vanilla Essence

Almond Essence

Coffee Essence

Irish Whiskey. Don't waste good quality whiskey on this recipe but do make sure it's Irish and not Scotch.

Recipe
250ml Single Cream
1 tin of Condensed Milk (397g - 4oz)
350ml Irish Whiskey
3 teaspoons of Chocolate Syrup/Sauce
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon Almond Essence
1 teaspoon Coffee Essence
To begin with, take a nice bottle, wash with hot water and then put in a fairly hot oven for 10-15mins to sterilise. Remove from the oven and leave to cool down.
Next up, and very simply, put all the ingredients in a blender, put the lid on, and blitz on a high speed for 30 seconds....
Taste and flavour with more chocolate and coffee if needed.

From here, it may smell a bit too Almondy but don't worry, after 5 minutes the flavours balance out completely.
I may also suggest knocking the recipe down to 1/2 tsp Almond Essence if that's not your kinda flavour.
Grab your chosen bottle and fill close to the top, this recipe makes 1 litre....

Put in the fridge for at least an hour, grab yourself a glass and oh, didn't I say.... this is the tester bottle, gotta have a tester bottle....

Kept in a sterilised bottle, in the fridge, this will last for up to 2 months, well.... you know what I mean
Don't forget to give it a shake
Enjoy
