Day 1: Sucess! All 4 seeds germinated nicely and nearly at the same time. The Purple Dominas are slightly taller than the Lil' Stick. They all shed their seed shells easily but they do have some very thick dense membranes. The inside of the shells looked like they had a lot of material stuck to them. Could just be a sign of healthy seeds with lots of energy!

And we are off! Just dropped 4 of each strain in shotties of spring water with a couple drops h2o2 in for good measure. Strains are Purple Domina and Strawbanana Daddy. There will be more to come… just you wait!

Well 2 Russian Queens were duds and 1 Purple Domina....7 out of 10 have germinated....I'll be growing in one gal grow bag using one part Megacrop and coco....

I have life! 6 of 8 are alive, 2 were no shows. They went into rehydrated jiffy peat pellets and under the dome in my 2x2 cabinet. Two days later they were mostly above soil. Spent a few days in there til some roots started wandering then were transplanted into solo instatransplant cups and are roughly 10 days old. It seemed they kinda stalled but are doing ok.

The 3 in the back in a line are the Strawbanana Daddy’s and the cluster in the front are the Purple Dominas. I’ll be back with more later.

Started with 2 Lil'Sticks and 2 Strawbanana Daddys.

1 of the SBDs didn't germinate.

I popped 2 more SBDs and they came up strong.

SBD 1 is a really compact.

SBD 2 and 3 are looking strong though.

These are the Lil' sticks at day 10.

Day23. And back left corner at

day13...shows we got females....roots hit bottom of my homemade self watering grow bases....running coco and Megacrop at 750ppm....thats around 500ppm Megacrop....plus the tap ppm.....they are all topped at the 5th node ....this is going to be one packed tent....even in one gal bags....

Sex shown: Between the last update on Day 22 and today, Day 24, all 4 plants showed sex. Pretty good to have 4 plants, 2 strains, and show sex within 24/48 hours of each other.

Purple Domina #1 & #2 :

PD # 1 : Hard to see but there is a calyx buried in there about to spit a pistil out

PD #2 : Much easier to see

Lil' Stick #1 & #2 :


LS #1 : One hard to see pistil or two hiding behind the main stem

LS #2 : The center one was visible yesterday but was all alone. Today there are more so I am confident.

Lil Sticks both showing sex at day 16,17.
Lil'Stick 1 showed on the 16th day and the next morning on Lil'Stick 2.
Top dressed with ewc and some of this growth shot. Then watered in with spring water and molasses. Both plants are looking great so far.
