Misting is a thing you should only do whenever the temperature's right. If it's too hot (for example you grow under CFL at 2inch distance from the light) you shouldn't mist, this'll cause burn-spots as the droplets will act like a magnifying glass.
What are the temperatures inside your cabinet? You can hang your lights way up, but if you don't have enough airflow it can still get too hot in there.
