I have the hydrostar 340w. 150w true pull led light . I have it 12" above the canopy, should I go higher ? I hate the fact I can't find a definitive answer. Help please

How old are your plants?
I'd like to know for all stages of growth please. I've just gotten the light halfwya through the grow I'm about 68 days in on. 90 day auto strain
12 inches seems good can I get it closer I've heard multiple people saying that you're able to get them as close as you want just look out for like burn but I am worried about light bleaching and they said they have never gotten light bleach

There are no set standards for LED distance.I run my 300 watt around 24 inches for veg and 14 to 18 inches for flower.

I'm similar to Nam, I start at about 27" in veg and then let them grow up towards the light keeping about 12" away in flower but if I notice any bleaching I'll raise it up a bit further.
My LED have 90 Degree lenses, lenses with a 60 degree beam angle, would go higher due them being a more concentrated beam.
I'm also thinking 5W LEDs may go higher too but I don't have one so can't say for sure, hopefully a 5W LED user will chime in here.

I'm running 5W LEDs. I'm running 3 Marshydro 11 400's in my 26"X60" grow area for an actual 50+ watts per sq ft. I'm on my first start to finish grow with LEDs and height has been a question for me also. I started mine at 34" above the soil and am letting the plants grow to the lights. Plants are doing good and are at 31 days old today. I've read somewhere that someone else did the same only with his lights even higher. For me this is just an experiment. Finding the elusive perfect height might be difficult.
