I bought two BELL+Howell led ultra bulbs today. They use 85% less energy only 9.5 watts and cost less then two dollars to run a year at 9.5 watts they say it is as bright as a 60w old school bulb incadescent i think they are called. Bell+Howell claims it only cost a 1.14 a year at 6 hours a day 7 days a week. Being in Canada it would be higher I believe. That would be stateside a 1.14 I am here to tell you they are a cleaner less obtrusive then florescent and the B+H led bulb is more like a 100 watt bulb i did a comparison against a old school 100 watt bulb and it is just as bright It has 22 bright white leds in shatter proof bulb bloody incredible I am changing every bulb they come with a ten year warranty just keep the receipt. I hope this helps some that just did not put 2 an 2 together like me a dim as a 10 watt bulb now and then I am lol PS there is tons of companies out there selling house hold led bulbs i just happen to buy what I bought.
