Lighting Legit LED Light from CHINA

I wouldnt buy no-name/off brand from china. Mars and cidly are both relatively cheap compared to many LED manufacturers and produce quality products.

Hey Cyklos, I own both a Cidly and Mars LED and would recommend both companies. I will say that Cidly's Apollo series is built better than the Mars though due to the modular design.

For your space I would actually recommend getting two Apollo 4's... having multiple lights is always better than one bigger LED if growing more than one plant since you can adjust the heights separately and get better light coverage in general. Here's a link to the seller that I bought from (as well as several other members now).

Also here's a link to the thread I started on my Apollo 4, you can find the custom spectrum I used and other additional info in this thread.

Contact Lydia @ Lydia Cidly LED Light <sales16@cidly.com>. Shes helpful and responds quickly.
For spectrum I would do something like this:
3 - 5k white
2 - 460 Blue
1 - 700+ infra red
2 - 630 Red
7 - 660 Red

There are 15 diodes in a module.
:kusht: treeman not a bad at all
if i may add on to that if you take out 1 white and ad add 280-315nm (UV) it will help with resin production in late flowering! also id have 2 different blues 430 and 460. that way your are feeding both chlorophyll A & B the same amount of light. :Sharing One:best plant growth is said to be under a 4:1 ratio of Red and Blue. so for every 4 red you should have 1 blue. which can be said for the spectrum treeman provided

Hey lets throw an Lumini 450r1 into the mix as well :woohoo: Just kidding .

Thank you all for the responses I really appreciate them.
I will take your advice and buy a brand LED light.
Better safe than sorry right? :)

My last question is, will my yield be affected a lot if i keep my grow tent open at all times? Or is it okay to do so?
About smell I am using the Ona product which worked very well on my last 3 grows.

The reason I am asking this is because I don't want to invest 250 dollars and "loose" the value if my grow tent is open at all times.
Can I buy the LED and keep my ghetto grow tent open or will it effect my yield severely?

I don't use an exhaust or intake because:

1. Not a handyman as you can tell by the ghetto setup I have LOL
2. I don't have anywhere to extract the heat to (the window would be too suspicious)

I trust your feedback and hope that you can help me out.

Thanks

Cyklos

PS: This is my 4th grow and I use reflective Mylar after the plant reaches 15-20 days.

I didnt get a quote on the apollo 4's but I got a price of $200 for the 8's without shipping. 2 lights is better than one, but also more expensive. apollo doesnt offer a UVB led, the only one they offer is 380-410nm UV. If you are concerned with providing for cloro A you could swap out one of the whites for a 430nm blue or a 12k white which is mostly blue, but more broad spectrum. If electricity savings is a concern, the mars reflector is nice cuz you are able to shut down the red lights during veg and cut draw basically in half for half of the grow.
