I have a 400w Mars in a 2x2 space and if I put it closer than 10 inches it burned the leaves in the center of my grow.. Look at my LR#2 journal . I would say 12 - 18 is the best as far as coverage and stress on the plants

So lets say the pots are 30cm tall the plant is arround 100cm plus 40cm the top of the plan from the lights 1.70 I cant go over 1.60 cause the hanging system is abbout 20cm ...
I think ll have to train my plant to be shorter...

I modified my hanging system so i can pull it up very close to the top of my grow area. But I have the 400w version and it doesn't weigh 25 pounds so I don't know what to say here other than training the plants!

Bam bro ,good to see your rockin in da house !... my suggestion is ...if either of those CFL's are blue / 65k ? use those to get started & swap to LED 2/3 weeks later ... I run both & have much better seedling health with CFL & only use 270w LED ... a 550w / 1200w LED for auto babies sounds overkill mate ?

Also if you get this grow right 1 plant will stuff that cab full ,although starting more does up your odds for success !

TD for a tough & forgiving strain is always a winner

yeah don't matter about height mate just train your plants, and i would start under CFL as cocha suggested, Do you have a GN cocha?

I ll have the CLFS in my hands tommorow so I ll check what colours they are and do as you said if they are ok.
The cabinet is allmost fixed I had a really tought time all day to setup it in the room.
I ll put no ventilation shelve since I am tight with the height but I have one small problem that i just found out,
Do I NEED a hole for the air to go out or the carbon fillter will do the job ?
I mean:

i have the 4 bottom holes... I ll hang the fan to suck the air at the top and the air from the fan will go in the carbon filter, after that, is it ok the air that comes out of the filter to stay in the cabinet or should I take it out somehow... maybe keep the carbon filter out of the cabinet?
PS: forgot to mention My problem will be to keep the cabinet at 25c cause of the cold... so I dont need alot of heat to go out of the room!
Pleas some help cause I have to finish with the drilling before they call the cops from the noise (just kinding) but ye it is going late here.
