Live Stoner Chat Lifestyles of The Rich & Famous

Of the celebs I've met, my faves were Freddie Mercury and Damon Albarn. They were both well cool, I was a stuttering fool...

The Duck Dynasty folks are my cousins  My dad and Si were best friends growing up. Phil and Si are my 2nd cousins, and yes Si is really that nuts lol

Personally I have spent time with Ed McMahon, who generally yelled at me for bothering the grownups. My Da and his friend were good buds with him. Shook hands with Jorma Koukonen and Jack Cassidy on a Blues Cruise booze cruise. Had to take Roger Clemens picture all day at a lumber convention, met the wife and kids later at a private diner. Pretty good guy, he was as tired of the whole affair as I was by the end of it.
Thanks to my ex-brother in law I am third degree Kevin Bacon and just about any movie actor from the last 30 years. His favorite if I recall was DiNiro, real professional. He is a recording engineer in NY City, won quite a few awards, most famously for The Sixth Sense. So that's a cool little tidbit!

Keep it up guys, I'm lovin' this thread. But can we please keep the fact from the fantasy or as I like to call it, the penguin from the Mossy.

Oh bugger ! I've done it again! Krug ! Be with you in a minute pal. Now, where did I put me cushion?

Anyone met a president?

Two. Both of the Bushes.. George Herbert Walker Bush was a funny story. He was vice pres when he came to the Navy base I was stationed at, for the Navy's Birthday party that year ('87). I was dressed in a Moose costume, as part of the festivities. When he saw me in the suit, maybe 50 feet away, he comes stomping over and says "I want a photo op with Mainerd the Moose, over here! Photographer comes over, post haste, and he puts his arm around me in the suit, and says "Who's in there, anyway?" I answer, and after the photo, he has me take off the head, shakes hands and chats for a minute, and says "best photo of the week! Wait'll Barbara sees this one!"
Somewhere, on the wall of the Presidential Cottage in Kennebunkport, Maine, is a picture of a VERY happy (soon-to-be) President, and me. In a moose suit.....
His son was not as friendly, but had a handshake like a planing vise!

Now now, eP asked to keep fact and fantasy clearly separated. Now there is just no way in h*ll that the mansion/compound that GW lives in can be called a cottage!! Been past it many a time and none of those homes along that section of drive can be called a cottage either for that matter.

I'll give you that.... lolol But, in Maine, they call those huge New Englander, 20+ room, 4 library/study homes a "cottage". That place of his on Walker's Point is about pure stunning, if you can get around the secret service detail milling about, and the tourists swarming....

Lol I hear that. My in-laws had a "cottage" on Drakes Island a few clicks south of Kennebunk and the Port. It had 6 bedrooms, a dining area that seated 20 in comfort, and it was on the beach! Cottages indeed.
