No need to apologize. This is what we do here with our New Growers forum, help people like yourself who are new to growing.

I looked into those nutes a bit more and did find that their N-P-K values are 5-2-5. That should be fine for vegetative growth but you could use more P and K for flowering, which is why they recommend using the PK 13-14 with in during flowering. You can use it by itself for the whole grow but you will get bigger buds if you can supplement a bit more P and K from about weeks 6 through 9 or 10.

Next watering I'll throw 1/2 dose of the nutes in and see how they get on, I'll definitely try get at least 1 picture up so you can see how she is. .
I'll try get some P and K by week 6 and drop it in. .

Hey there P.O.D. I don't use HPS, but I'm pretty sure that's too close. Supposed to be more like 16 inches or more from canopy, but like I said, not 100% on that but someone will back me up soon.

Pics would be sweet when you can. What is she growing in? Could need Nitrogen, but hard to say with no pics.

As long as heat is NOT an issue and using air cooled reflector I have some of my plants as close as an 1" to the light with 0 issues... The plants LOVE IT! It's tr possible burning of the leaves that you'd worry about...it's winter here and my light is as cool as can be...

Hello and welcome. Sooner or later you will need a ph meter, Hanna 98103 is what I just got ($35 ) and the calibrating liquid ($25) but a cheap liquid test kit is better than nothing. As you feed more (1/4 of the recomended to start) the ph will drop. Let the soil dry between waterings/feedings. In the beginning water once per week after a few weeks maybe twice per week. I only feed once per week and give a plain watering between but others feed more with good results. The fun thing about growing is you can do it so many different ways and still get a good result. Don't worry about questions, it's what this site is all about. Do you know the ph of the water you are using? Again, welcome and good luck.

@P.O.D always find it amazing for a "weed" the love and care that needs to go in for a successful grow. If the desire and passion is there it will all work out, eventually wishing you the best POD. There is just so much info to absorb and learn... My first grow 9+years ago was quite the learning experience... Really gave me a heads up on this grow.. Back than I did soil, two dwc, and had a drip system set up... Hydro all I can say is though the results I believe are quicker and superior it is also a beast to take care of! I did it, the grow was successfull... Going to look right now for some old pics...
Found a bunch from my first very unexperienced grow! Man can I see a difference from that first experiment to this... Really does take a good grow or two even to start to grasp the complexities of this hobby ! Just love it!

Rooting here for you POD that your doing a bit better than that old grow of mine, lol autos back than were unheard of than at time, digital balast were the newest and latest in lighting bck than, fem seeds were all pretty new back than... It's mind boggling how far it's all come! LEDs back on my first grow... People never heard of them... Anyways just got done from 13hrs work and am beat and rambling... Enjoy these old school pics, I sure did finding them, brought up ALOT of memories of a time when I was much more carefree, much more fun etc... Have become such an old fart...

Thank you for sharing the knowledge and keeping me grounded Yoda need to remind myself constantly "it's your first grow, things can go wrong. . . You'll learn" . . Especially with all you here! I can't get enough of this plant, I've been reading and "studying" for almost a year now and still I learn something new everyday, it's amazing Watched hours of video's and been through every forum available just to read, read, read. . . But the first (and only) forum I joined is here! Everybody is nothing but friendly and they actually want to help you, it's home to me now . . I'm new to forum's and growing but feel comfortable here! I know in a few years with all you guys watchin over us noobs we'll be excellent growers thank you (we should be paying you for all this advice haha) Goes to show this f'd up world does have genuine, sensible, good people. Who just want to help

Cool set-up in the pics Yoda I hope to one day try hydro because it looks so clean and neat (compared to soil) . . Any hydro set-up I seen has been in order, and well kept. . Hoping I can pick your brain over the future Yoda with your 9+ years of experience (I'll be young Luke Skywalker Maybe in the future I can master soil and then move on to hydroponics . . Lmao POD have 9 years of solid
Reading everything I thought I could bout marijuana... Though have actually only did that one previous grow... Think I popped grapefruit or gfxc99 don't remember And I think DP Blueberry which I found I still have 1 seed left of. I learned so much from that grow! Used a 400w hps at that time...I also learned how freaking hard hydro was! Though I think now I could possibly handle a dwc pretty good(have right meters now etc)
I found soil to be the most forgiving!
So, as like you am also a NOOB and have learned SOOO much from here! When I first contemplated this grow I looked on the seed banks and saw something called Autoflowering... I was intrigued to say the least, as I thought I knew so much (taught me). Never heard of such a thing, upon googling I found AFN, I guess once I got here I was HOOKED! Had to try these! 9 years later the biggest change was getting a degree and actually being able to buy some decent equipment... So I'll join along with you POD and we'll both be jedi's in training with all these fine folks here to help us along the way.... Like you am just 150% heads into this! Seeing this whole experience as a life changer! Hoping to free myself from the crime world to obtain a herb that for the past 12years has made all the difference in the world for me once being dx'ed with MS. Besides that whole aspect of it something happened that I never expected! A forum to help sick people! This whole PH body thing going on here has BEEN SUCH A HUGE EYE OPENER! Thanks to AFN I'm finding other ways to help my health through here! Can not thank AFN enough for being such an escape from the badly sickened head of mine (physically and mentally) and has allowed me to focus on something positive for a change... AFN has sorta has become a new addiction to me..just love it here! Pod if you ever need something of just want to spout off like I like to, than shoot me a pm. Sometimes on the forum I feel like a become a rambling mess in my posts... Sorta like in real life, I get so over tired I ramble..
