Light Burn?

neem oil is killer for fungus gnats
i've had quite a population once
treated 5 plants with only 3ml on one liter water in a spray bottle
might have been very lucky there, but it did a good job
i can only recommend it to you plus your local flower shop should have it in stock
maybe you can use it until your nematodes arrive

Yeah was planning to buy some neem oil, but heard it's no good for plants in flower, and i need to treat all 4 of my plants. Garden center didnt have it, and around 30$ for a 20ml bottle in health shops... think thats pretty pricey? Also not sure if anything else is added to the neem oil used for hair etc?

:toke:-- Bix, I think that dry-out and the sudden light increase change did a 1-2 punch here,.... such a dry-out can cause sudden pH shifts, and if you're on the edge like you are at near 7.0 (should be about 6.4 give or take) it can start a lockout,.. roots hate that crap too, so find another way to deal with gnats, that hurts the plant more than them! Look into BTi mosquito granules/bits, a bacterium that gets ingested and kill the larvae... adults are little more than flying gonads, they don't really eat....
.... this looks mostly like the start of a micronute defc., in fact very likely since you haven't feed much (certainly the lights may have contributed to the paling as well); that soil is not a complete source for all the nutes, especially micro's,... the light stress can be a trigger for this as well,... and if your dry out drove the pH up, that makes even more sense as most of the micronute are metals, and lock out fast at that very pH range.
... get her well hydrated again, with nutes, and if you can get it, score a micronutrient supplement like Earth Juice Microblast; use in both soil and as a foliar spray...
...

I currently have biobizz grow/bloom/top max. Biobizz recommened Alg-A-Mic for micronutrient deficiencies. Got any experience with it or know if this is suitable for my problem?

Shown some more signs today...

...looks like Fe defc., color fade from the "palms" out,.. P defc. too,... yeah, the root cramping didn't help at all, and why she dries so fast,...
get the mosquito bits mate, most stores with garden centers/pond supplies will have them,... the bacterium persists in the soil and keeps on killing,... neem won'tna d yes, that stoopic expensive,... skip the neem!
try the Alga' at full strength drench, and do a foliar spray too... if you can use a wetting agent or even a mild scentless castile soap, just enough to make the solution coat and stick evely instead of beading up,.. 1-2 ml/L to start, try it and see if it's enough,... get the underside of the leaves especially, more stomata there,.. keep her out of direct light until dry,....

Jup wasn't just light burn :p Seems i misread the delivery time for the nematodes... got them yesterday :D
also only seen 2 dead gnats on the glue paper after 5 days of having it on the pot. Seems the population is pretty minor for now.
Allright will do! will most likely get the algamic within the next 4 days.
Meanwhile i have transplanted her into a 20l airpot and she is perking up again :)

Oh and thanks for the detailed tips! Never done foliar feeding so i had no idea you put it on the underside of leaves. Can i also do it on plants in flower if i'm careful not to spray the buds?

...sure, in early-mid bloom a little overspray isn't going to hurt anything... just be sure to do it when there's time for them to dry by lights out. Keep them out of full blasting light too for bit while they dry; some residence time before dry-out helps get more in there, as lights will dry things faster.... yup, tops and bottoms of leaves, and use a wetting agent or even a scentless castile soap in a pinch; this help it coat and stick better instead of beading up,.. usually it's 1-2ml/L, but test it out and see, use just enough to not have it bead up much... A note, on blooming plants foliar spray may cause the pistils to brown out; not going to ruin anything, but if that happens, that's why....

Well, good news and bad news.

The Blueberry OG is doing extremely well after repotting and giving 3ml/L grow in soil + 1ml/L alg-a-mic foliar spray. (Thanks for all the tips folks!)

But now my Himalaya Blue Diesel is having some severe issues. Most of the discoloring has happend the last 5-7 days, although she started looking a little pale a while before that (after i put in the new LED light).
My last 2 waterings she got 0.5ml grow+2ml/L bloom+1ml/L topmax with 4 days in between waterings. Also gave her 2ml/L alg-a-mic mixed in with the last one yesterday.
Did not give just water in between these 2 feedings because i thought she was looking so scrawny... Maby lockout?
Also the soil is about 6.9-7ph, but it has been that the whole grow and never reacted to it earlier.
Tried flushing the soil early on to bring it down, but even running 10l of 6.2ph trough a 5l pot did nothing. The runoff stayed exactly the same. Guess the soil has some kind of ph balancer.
According to breeder she should have 2-3 weeks left.
Buds are many, but all very small and not developing properly.
Rest of the info is same as for my Blueberry.

Course of action?

... could be the roots themselves aren't in good shape anymore, in which case all the flushing and feeds is not the bottleneck here,... if the in-pot pH is good, and the feeds haven't been heavy,...and now the flush so overloaded soil is out,... I need normal light pics to read the leaves please,... but you're right, that top to bottom paling is bad news, something is jammed up here,... now the soil pH, how did you take that? if it's not direct, in-pot with a quality probe, or if it's run-off, that reading is dubious,... still, that high is on the edge, and can cause lockouts of several nutes,... at this point with such advanced symptoms, it's harder to call what's what here,.. a more remote possibility is soil vermin; root aphids, bad gnat larvae infestation, etc.,... that is a much harder tell in some cases unless you dig around in there and see, or have a lot of adult fliers gnats around,...

Took the soil ph by putting runoff through a coffee filter and testing that. Info on bag sais soil ph is balanced to 6.5-7.5. Wierd ph range for a soil mix that is advertised as good for cannabis growing? My lightmix of same brand is 5.8-6.5.
Yeah might be that she got most of the gnat infestation... still seeing a few here and there.
Removed most of the dead/dying leaves now, but took some more pictures outside the tent.
On day 50 now btw, feel like she should be a lot bulkier by now.

... what's you water like for pH and hardness? if it's really hard, mineral loaded, then that's a big clkue to why the ph keeps drifting up even after flushing,... do you have an EC/TDS meter?
