Hi Guys Hope everyone is well
Got a quick question, im growing my first plant (autoAK) and iv had it growing on a light cycle of 20 hours on and 4 hours off, its now 16 days old
in the past 2 days iv had to leave it on a timer as i wasn't around to change it myself but now just realised my timer for the light wasn't working. so it had about 48 hours of straight light..

Is this a problem as now iv put it back on a 20/4 cycle..?

Yep, put it back on the 20/4. It's a good idea to have the timer from the start, something will always come up or happen if you do it by hand. No worries, you should be fine.

as a side note, when I get a new timer I test it out before hand to make sure I have the hang of it before using it on the plants, those little shits can get confusing some times.

I also had a problem with the timer. It was annoying, so I stopped using it.
Autoflowers don't key on the light cycle.

So when I get up in the morning, I turn the lights off (this keeps the plants
warm, the house gets cold at nite in the winter). I leave it off for a few hours,
but I rarely hit 4. I get antsy and turn them on 3 hours later, or forget and
do it 5 or 6 hours later.

Be careful with that late, just because they don't need 12/12 doesn't mean an inconsistent light cycle won't stress them. If you're doing good with that now, imagine how much better they could do with consistent light hours! You might be a master grower except for a little timer box. Go get it buddy!

Its been in the 20's here at night and I grow in an outdoor shed. I have had my light on 24/0 for a few weeks straight. 600 watts and 7 x 100 CFL's keep it warm enough. No ill effects and plants are covered in buds.
