I was just reading about the method of light switching when growing photoperiod for flowering:

1.- 2. week of flowering: 11 light - 13 dark
3. – 4. week of flowering: 10,5 hour light - 13,5 dark
5. – 6. week : 10 light, 14 dark
7. – 8. week: 9,5 light, 14,5 dark

then another second method:
12 h light 5.5 h dark 1 h light 5.5 h dark

Does anyone has experience with this kind of growing?
I hear about this for the first time. It has got some logic to shorten light period as in nature.
Is it much more effective? Has anyone tried it?

It seems logical but when I do photos indoors I veg 4-6 weeks at 20/4 lights then flip to 14/10 after 3 days of complete dark, and work down to 12/12 or 10/14. Had great success
