My question is in regards to lighting, I know that to obtain max yields my room needs 300k lm(5k per ft) now when using an autoflower which ive never done before, what is the required light spectrum should I be using 300k lm in the cool end until flowering begins and then switch to 300k lm on the warm end once it begins to flower, or should it be a 50/50 split from seed to bud i.e. 150k lm cool and 150k lm warm? does anyone know the best lighting combinations to start with and when to change the spectrum? I havent done autoflowering plants before and could use some feedback on what the differences are. Thanks.

Welcome to afn bro.. So this is dependent upon lighting source a lot of times but for the most part cool for first 5-6 weeks and warm to finish. There are those using T5HO with mixed spectrum the whole way with great sucess. I use led and have switchable spectrums so I go blue to full spectrum on a 2:1 ratio for first 5 weeks then go full spectrum the rest of the way

Welcome to AFN I have grown out a few full grows with Dual Spectrum CFLs they work great but everything DubV said is spot on

Hey thanks for the answer and warm welcome. I just wasnt sure how similar an autoflower really was to run-o-the-mill growing and figured if they do it automaticly then maybee the lighting requirements were different, any-who thanks again I will just use the same setup as usual. Do u have any recomendations (from actual expirience not from a website quote)as to which strains would produce the best yields with the shortest grow periods?
