So have this approx 8*3ft grow space, and am wondering how to light it. Probably Mars hydro boards - but was wondering if there was any advantage of single light units over big spaces vs smaller units. Also even though I'm not paying do any light companies offer discounts to AFN members
Also got a 7*2 ft space - but I can work out the light for that space.

Sounds like a good plan @MarshydroTina can help with specifics but if you are interested chilled tech rapid led and hlg all make great lights but if I could try 1 of theres weather bought or not would be there fc models I think the smallest they go is 4x4 I think but, I really like strip lights bc of the super even coverage which I built 2 a yr ago and love them

How much height do you have?

Just shy of 4 foot (ish). Though depending on which lights are chosen we can cut out the work area, or dismantle the whole thing and 3d print somewhere else.

I don't know a cheap solution that isn't DIY for the small height.

I like the quantum board 4 packs though. You have to wire and connect the drivers yourself but they would be the easiest DIY.

I think you would need around 2 packs.

@MarshydroTina can help their stuff

How about 3 units TSW 2000 light? Total 900w, about 37.5w/sqf
Sounds about perfect! The spaces I'm using here aren't personal or commercial but medicine for 2 people and one group. Equipment and running costs will be met but no one's getting paid. With that in mind I'll be pushing for the larger units - but it's not up to me. I'll post in a new journal and we'll see if people can co operate or not
