Indoor Lil advice needed here

Couple of questions.. What should I do if I don't have a meter to fit in my curing jar right now? I currently just have one of those fat AcuRite meters not the skinny ones u can fit in the jar. Any suggestions? :smokebuds:

Also on the stem snap to test how dry the hanging buds..do I just want to hear a snap and not have it actually snap in half or do I want the stem to actually snap in half? My rh isn't consistent at all so I can't really use the one day for every 10% rh method.. Any tips?

put it in a brown bag or any larger tupperware container(thats fits the meter) for up to a day and see what the rh reads. It won't be perfect or stable but it will create an environment and even out the dryness. plus give you an idea about where the rh is. I pop mine in and out of a bowl a few times to even the rh between large and small buds

Unless it is an impossibility for you, go on ebay and order a mini hygro meter. You can get one for 15$ USD delivered. Definitely worth it.

Hi,
I would only wait for the branch to "snap" not to actually break though. If not using a meter etc... I will wait to the snap than jar, open and let that jar out to air for an hour or two. Do this for the first four days or so... Than you should be ok to just be able to burp jar throughout the day... Also I always redistribute the buds in the jar to ensure evenness... I can not say enough good about by drying rack that hangs in the closet... It's absolutely perfect!
I would not put much bud in that bag at all... The brown bag dries it out IMO way to fast!

Well right now I have the buds hanging from clothespins in my closet. I can order a smaller rh meter but it won't arrive for a week or so and my buds will be dried in the next few days so just jar when dry and burp for an hour a day until it comes? :smokebuds:

Just want to cure them as best I can

Or try a local cigar shop in your area, or tobacco shops might have some.
