Morning guys it's going fine. We caught some decent fish but nothing special we had 17lbs with our best 5 and over 20lb won with a few bags around and over 20 so you can say...... Better luck next time

Going by our rain gauge we have had 5 1/2 inches of rain in the last two weeks and today's forecast is another 2 1/2 inches. My poor plants in the greenhouse are stretching like crazy looking for some sunshine. At least I haven't had to water the big vegetable garden, but I think I should have planted rice instead of potatoes

I can't stop eating this turkey jerky, yes I have the munchies. This batch of turkey jerky is top shelf! It is almost tough as leather And you have to chew it for a while, the whole time the salty umami smokey flavors and spices just dance on my pallet. Chew and chew some more, just the way I like it. I like Pemmican style as well but it eats too fast. You really have to work on this one. The sous vide solved the problem of the turkey drying out too much in the oven when I pasteurized it.

Pretty sure the fishing is always good….its the catching part that can have some variance!
