I've got a tarp of soil mixed up in my yard for my outdoor plants. Would it be better to keep it as a big pile on the tarp and mix occasionally until I'm ready for seeds, or just put it in the pots I'm gonna grow in now and wait for seeds?

It will compost and get some microbial action going if kept in a pile and moist….

Being that this was something we talked about the other day, I figured this story is somewhat topical:

The impetus seems to be the need to curb shoplifting.

I don't like to post links to news sites for myriad reasons, though this should be easy enough to find.

Figured some here might be interested.

Also, for anyone in the Midwest US, and specifically Michigan or Indiana.... stay safe... Storms are fierce there right now.

I mean..hell.. there is Passion Fruit.........which could be fermented I guess.

It is fruit... ergo it has sugars.... ergo it can be fermented for sure. Probably makes some pretty good brandy.
