In my youth I did roofing in USVI (galvanized) and Colombia (corrugated cement/cellulose/asbestos), and mid-life in Buffalo (shingle, metal, corrugated composite). It gets damn hot on a galvanized metal roof in the tropics. Mom always said, "Son, if yr gonna be dumb, you better be tough."
It's been raining for days here. Only got up to 55°F today. The Dutch Passion Lemon Z outdoor girls are wearing skirts to keep the rain from rinsing all the nutrients out of the coco. They've been handling nights as low as 40°F without complaining.
