So we've been told to fuel up our vehicles and pack our essentials and prepare to evacuate. The two big fires to the east and northeast are joining together and the wind is bringing it our way. Choppers and water bombers everywhere. It is still 20 kilometers away but moving pretty fast. No rain in the forecast so I pray the wind changes direction. Cats are plowing fire breaks but with this wind the embers breach the breaks pretty easy. I'll try to update as best I can if shit happens.

I hope it stops storming soon! Today was trash day and i noticed when i got the groceries out the car that they left the lid open so damn thing is gonna be filled with water! At least the outside should be clean!

Ya no idea why i didn’t think about that but the cans are definitely empty! At least i hope they are empty or gonna be disgusting if filled with trash water!

Luckily i am quite sure i heard the trash truck earlier so should be just water in them!

I'm running on less than 5 hours sleep. I can only sleep on my right side and even that hurts my left hip. When I move to adjust my position I wake up so really I get way less sleep than the clock can say.

I've been waiting for MRI for 1½ years. Who knows how much longer. After that I can be referred to a surgeon. Then I have to wait for the surgeon. Then I have to wait for a surgery date(s) then it's 6 months to recover.

I am fed up. I am tired of hurting. I am tired of getting 4-6 hours of sleep and pretending to be cheerful.

I don't go for walks with my wife, or with the dogs. I don't get outdoors with my buddy.

I am just so tired.

That sounds just grim sir, I hope you get things sorted sooner than current expectations. Reading about experiences like yours makes me realize how lucky I have been.

My wife just went through a knee replacement, so I can appreciate what you are going through second hand sort of. Good luck with it, your AFN gro peeps are rooting for you.
