Thanks buddy I believe it was 304 just fused with TIG it was a bigger piece of pipe we had laying around 8” I had to split and make smaller diameter 7.25”

Dam, I never seen the technique used to make a pipe a different size. Assuming u PI 8.00/7.25 for the amount your removing, cut, reroll, bevel and weld?

Yessir except our roller was too big to roll I had put it in the break and do a bunch of tiny bends to get the radius where it needed to be other wise it would look like a clam shell. Didn’t need bevel its was only 1/8” and I fused inside and out pretty much full penetration. This is a weird application not something thing we do often but this needed to fit in existing pvc pipe
