Ok new terms, what is tissue culturing?
They sell it at my hydro store.

He said that it works with autos!
Way above my pay grade...and budget, but it looks pretty cool.

They keep cells alive in little vials.
When they want clones, they divide the stuff and force it to grow on agar.

Imagine having a big collection of favorite phenos no space needed for mothers.

The guy said that cuttings from mothers are way faster that tissue culture.

I'm getting a humidifier next week in Santiago. Never needed on of those before. I'm getting a nice AC infinity one, never owned anything from AC either but I'm sure it's good from all I read online and I get a warranty so why not like.

You will enjoy working with them. Ive gotten everything besides my tent replaced by them, no questions asked, that includes the light 2 times. The first one the driver failed, the 2nd was a power surge that knocked out everything electronic in my tent, all you need is proof of purchase.

I go for a little movement in all plants, so it might be 1 or 2 oscillating or fixed, it depends. As of now I run 3 fans, one oscillating, in a 2x4 and exhaust. I run 2 of them on the timer to keep it quiet(er) in the evenings.
Other than the oscillating and exhaust I have a fan blowing across the top and another along the bottom of my lights.

The top ushers heat towards the exhaust.

COBs run realy hot so (I hope) the fan on the bottom reduces the heat radiation from the lights. Honestly don't know what I'm doing there.

Now that I'm legal I have started dreaming a bit about one of those AC infinity tents with all the bells and whistles. Auto everything. But then again, would I still enjoy my hobby? I fish a lot and I see guys who spends crazy money to automate their fishing experience. I'd just rather go and buy fish as that point 🤷

I went on for months have a fan blowing through my lights on to my plants, effectively creating a hairdryer effect and killing my terps off.

I try to "blow the heat away" now, created some space between the lights and the plants and have a pretty heavy airflow there. Heat travels up and sometimes I have a baking oven above the plants but pretty nice and chill down in the leaves.

I think

There's definitely an enjoyable element of building and fiddling with your environment.

Set and forget no problems but problem solving is fun!

No need to dream. I love my set up and its not even fully automated like they have with a.i. now. They always run really good sales during April. Their regular old controller 69 is more than enough automation. To be honest though, I don't really use anything but the schedule timer for the light, everything else is just on 24/7.

Vivosun is catching up with ac infinity really quickly though. Migro did a test between tents from ac infinity, vivosun and spiderfarmer and vivosun had the most reflective tent. They also tend to have better sales, but Ive had a good experience with ac infinity and their customer service. At the same time I've never heard anything bad about vivosun either. A lot of the components between companies are universal too. So you can control almost anything with a controller from any one of the main 3 companies. The light is the only thing that usually isn't compatible with a controller froma different company.

hi guys, hope you are doing fine. wanted to wish you a good day and that i want to grow some weed again under a spectrum i never seen before, at least not with a label on it explaining the Kelvin. I will do some more research about the lights and see what i can find, and i am not gonna buy the first one i see, or that i can´t be sure about. Anyway, how you doing fellow growers?
