Looking at solar panels I have now realized they do charge us for sunshine. Oxygen is next I tell you.

One of our friends runs a dog kennels on farm land....no mains....and she says the fastest way to go bankrupt is to go solar....

Just for the two of them...and the dogs they have a massive bank of sun tracking panels.....and bearing in mind they have dogs...lots of them...she says they have problems with break ins ... people trying to steal them.

Hubby fancied one of those solar water heaters...his friend says you would be just as well off buying 40 mtr hose pipe and pin that across your roof...

My dad solar heats water for showers in a "shower shed". Just an open black barrel on the roof and he fills it with a hose when it hasn't been raining much. It works But yeah, it looks like shit. Wouldn't have worked within city limits or if his wife had gotten glasses.
