I need some info on breeding. So if I cross photo x auto, would the f1 generation have any autoflowers or would they all be photo? Like if I left the lights on a 20/4 schedule would they still flower bc of the auto genetics or is that only if the line is worked to later generations like f2+
Not predictable, because the photo plant may, or may not, have the recessive auto gene( or genes, I am not sure anyone is certain how many genes are involved). If it has the gene(s), some of the offspring will be autos, if not, none will be until F2, and then only if both parents (which act as photos) have the recessive gene(s), which again, is not predictable on the basis of what they look like before they reveal gender.

Good luck mate, IMO your best bet is to reverse autoflowers to get your pollen. Us home growers can do a decent job of pollen chucking, but very few of us have either the space or the determination to actually do serious breeding. Too many plants, and too much time is needed to breed successfully, except perhaps, by very good luck, IMO of course, and what after all do I know. :bighug:

I want to hit auto ultimate with a photo c99F4 male in hopes of working it into a fast flowering but heavier yielding c99 auto, and find a good male auto to hit platinum x slurricane, oreoz, apple fritter, animal cookies, deep chunk f5, gsc x stardawg, strawberry pancakes x peyote purple, and platinum lemon cherry gelato

I chopped down the Dutch Passion Lemon Z. It was huge. I did not enjoy the multi hour harvest and wet trim. Pain in the ass. I finally understand the guys with smaller pots and looking for small plants with a couple oz per. I thought big ass plants would always be the goal.

Anyway here's the fun part:
