I am starting some photoperiods. It would be really nice if during the summer I could put them outside.
It IS legal to grow in my state. But I live in town and I have nosey neighbors.
I know photos rely on the amount of light they get to know when to flower. If I did something like cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon bucket and put it over them, so they were basically like "in a tube", would that cause them to flower early? Do they need direct light? Or would it be enough that they get shaded light? Ideally I could start them and for 3 months work on shaping them how I want while keeping them small-ish and hidden outside. I have some scrap plywood I could build a blind around them against the back of my house so they can't be seen.
