Benzos were tough, but they weened me off of them the first week in hospital to reduce the convulsions followed by a 3 week stay in detox.Not me… I quit smoking rather easily….. benzos on the other hand, I had withdrawal symptoms for months afterwards..
Tobacco though was months and almost no medical support. I was a grump for at least a half year.

Quitting cigs cold turkey is definitely tough but the right thing to do. Quitting cigs and vaping instead is just continuing the habit and trading one poisonous habit for another.
Ah, that makes sense. Let me tell you how the VA does it….
……they just make you go cold turkey…..
I had these electric shock sensations, I had two seizures, and felt like I was one foot in this world and one foot in the land if disassociation… for about six months.
It was crazy, and they did similar with opiates. In my experience, nothing angers those particular doctors more than a patient that wants to take control of their own treatment. Vindictive, is a good word for them….
Good Day friends. I think I might return home for a bit. The fire is still not contained but the growth has slowed because of the rain and isn't expected to flare up for a couple of days. Hopefully that will allow them to get it contained. It is a struggle to be away from home right now and I'm not doing real well with that struggle. I will leave the wife behind as her mother started chemotherapy today and she will need some assistance. I might not be in LS for a few days if I have to leave the laptop with her but will update you when I can. 
Cigars are nice and a nice flake tobacco from a briar pipe. But you smoke those differently and only like once a month or so. The nice stuff is so pricey it's self regulated for me. I use tobacco pouches on a daily basis so yeah, nicotine is in there.
