Cheers @Mañ'O'Green ...I'm sure we have Roku pre-instaled on the TV ...I looked at it when we first got the TV and never bothered.

Hubby says we have two ways to do it...a fire stick or a box...both under 100 euros set up...and about the same a year for rental.

Probably going with the fire stick....

Get a fire stick! The new 4k top of the line was only $60 but i saw a sale offer for it for like $20 or 25 couple days ago! U will need to download some free tv watching apps or u can pay for a premium one like YouTube tv where u get tons of options and can most assuredly get it in English!

Have you attempted to connect your tv to your wifi? It sounds like you have a smart tv, and a fire stick would be redundant, I’m thinking….

Ya if the tv doesn’t hook to the internet maybe look to sell it!

FWIW we had fire sticks but have had Rokus for longer seemed like the fire sticks were good at first but then over time they all got real laggy. Ever since we switched to Rokus never had an issue. It's basically the same thing just different brand if your tv has it built in it's even easier. It would show up under your apps if it is a smart tv

Pretty sure it tells u in the notification if it has any updates pending and u just click update!

If tv has roku tho don’t need both as fire stick is just a platform for downloading apps for the tv!

Yup... that's what I got to on the Rocu...got it installed... All the programmes in Spanish........and hubbys saying you can get English subtitles...and I'm like.....enough already...it can wait until tomorrow .....

There should be an option to change the language they are speaking in! If YouTube is already set to where all the system menu language is in english u can check the settings menu! On netflix if its a foreign language show u can change it so they have english dubbed over it! And there its as easy as hitting pause and u will see on the bottom of screen what language its in with an option to select English!
