Well what to cook?


That plant looks to be at maximum growth speed, on the verge of high nitrogen. A lot of the "look is genetic" in my opinion. Does the room have good ventilation and air movement? The leaves can grow faster than they strengthen and they droop. I had this a lot in Bubbleponics. I would cut back on the N a bit.

Will do. Yeah they have pretty constant air circulation. I usually keep the exhaust running 24/7. Just at a lower speed, and the clip on is running too.

Have you ever seen this as a tip for strawberries....?.... obviously fert tea is fermented...but I've never seen anyone fermenting ordinary yeast for plant food......

Hmmmm…..I’ve never heard of fertilizing with yeast…but there’s lotsa information on the internet about it…so it must be a thing… I might have to give it a try on two plants, leave two with just the organic ferts I use…see which is better….

U do realize if u are growing in soil u don’t need runoff right? If u are getting runoff u are watering that soil to the max and really should go even longer between waterings if thats the case! Cuz that runoff if it sits there gets wicked back up so basically another mini feed and then repeating that process it never really has any kind of dry back time! Soil u only need to water 20%ish of the soil volume each time and thats in bloom! Veg its more 10-15% that they should get! If u don’t feel like doing math basically 1gal per 5gal pot in flower! .5-.75gal during veg!

All my time forgetting or neglecting to water my own plants you would think i didn’t know what i was doing!

I thought you were suppose to water to runoff in soil. I mean that's what I see everywhere. I do let them dry back a bit. Till there about half their full weight, usually a little less.

Well then I guess I will cut back. I always thought you were suppose to have a little run off to help avoid build up and make sure there was even distribution of water. How do you know you arent developing dry pockets in the soil?

I don’t worry about such things….. I feed, they grow…all good. I don’t really chase deficiencies, I don’t test dli, I don’t worry about dry pockets, or hydrophobia, and all the other stuff I’m forgetting that I don’t worry about.

Things I do pay attention to…. Feeding frequency and nutrient strength…. As you know I track feed amounts…I also used to track how many days between watering….but now I strictly go off weight, and refuse to feed early…if anything, I feed slightly late (I also never deal with bugs because of this)…. I do modulate the calmg, only giving if necessary depending how the plant looks…

Also, something I just thought of…. I Feed kelp extract from day one on…. And in your case, would even give a foliar feed to see if it improves things. Once I started using it (I use Sea Kelp from gln) it changed my garden completely, for the better….both in veg and in flower….

Yeast are single cell fungi and we all feed the natural fungi that is ever-present in the environment. This helps promote the microbiome. Feeding yeast jumpstarts the process along with other microzyma. Kelp is an amazing contributor. So you have been doing it all along with Great White and other basic elements we add as good farmers.
