When i was like 13ish i used to go to the lake like 15min from the crib and we would get dropped off by the parents to fish at the marina! Obviously can’t eat them but it was fun fishing for carp off the docks but if u didn’t tie a rope from your pole to the dock those things would hit your bait and bolt and your pole would fly right off the dock and then disappear under the rows of boats and it would be lost forever! He wasn’t fishing for carp or he wouldn’t have been able to chase that pole with any success!
