I've used those foam mattress at some of my airbnb. They last well, but don't wick moisture well.

I use a mattress pad made from wool/silk to help with this. Natural fiber sheets also help.
I hate bedding that behaves that way. A couple times when visiting friends I found that the neat freak dearest actually put plastic sheets beneath the bedding in the guest bedroom (and no, I am not a bed wetter). Miserable sleep does not cover it. Breathable bedding is important. :cheers:

We got onto the Bamboo for waterproof cover for the grandchild's mattress when they needed them...they aren't like the old plastic ones...that kind of crackle every time they turned over..... :biggrin: ...and.. breathable....

You would just think you were sleeping on silk...:headbang:....


We have them on all the settees now....under the throws..for when the dogs are wet or muddy...it doesn't go through to the fabric.....:biggrin:...
