Im so sick of california man

The homeschooling laws are probably the main reason followed by we need a change of scenery, great firearm laws and because its wayyyy cheaper. But we also want another kid or kids and we can't do that living with my in-laws. NOT TO MENTION IM ABSOLUTELY SICK OF LIVING WITH THEM (as nice of people as they are i cant do it anymore)

We only moved in with them cause of my son's medical stuff but he is good now. He is getting his feeding tube out in June and his trach out in September. We want to leave earlier but got to let him heal and do any follow up appointments before we leave.

Worst case scenario i can drive 45 mins to the Oregon border if I get desperate to smoke. Already confirmed there is about 5 shops right over the border.

Dude…. If you’re moving to Idaho, I encourage you to rethink. I’ve lived there in the past…. It’s expensive, you will always be a Californian to them, there’s a hefty undercurrent of racist bullshit, and if you’re planning on breaking their weed laws and get caught, it gets serious rather fast….. there are legal states that are a better option…. In my opinion….

Cause all the legal states around me have really shitty homeschool laws. Idaho literally doesn't care what you do. If I didn't have a kid I'd go somewhere else but I gotta put his needs before my own. I've already checked and anything under 3 oz is only a misdemeanor so it’s not as bad as it was in past years. Apparently legalization is being pushed out there pretty heavy so maybe once I'm there it will pass and I'll be ahead of the curve!

If a majority of voters pass the amendment, Idaho voters would no longer have the power to legalize cannabis through a ballot initiative.

Even in legal states weed + a gun = illegal! I sold my guns and never finished my concealed carry class cuz i got put on opiates from a dr and it asks u in the application if u are using any kind of medication and i didn’t wanna lie and say no since there was a federal database that would show what meds i was getting!

Yup! That's why I think moving to a state with good gun and homeschool laws is more important to me than growing weed right now!

So as i'm understanding, this after this gets passed, if a bill is introduced to get legalized, it will just get thrown out right away

Yeah but I obviously wouldnt be taking my son over the border lol. Nor would I be buying any to take home. Going 45 mins up the freeway to puff a quick joint and come home is an emergency option I've planned in my head as a "break the glass emergency" type of thing. I CAN live without weed that's no issue. I CANT live with my in-laws for another year lol.
