Mom said clothes weren’t dry after 3 cycles so i checked and realized clothes inside weren’t warm at all! All pointed to a bad heating element so took it apart! Found this….

I’m no expert but assume all that lint on the element is no bueno! Gonna order a thing from amazon that has a new thermostat and whatnot too since its apart already! Might as well! Make sure its working when it goes back together! Assuming i can get it back together!
Sons like you and my KingRatt are a blessing.Project for the day….

Kerosene Krash huh.I take it you used prize money for those beans? What makes them so special?Supply & demand? Definitely like to hear a report on those.Gonna be sweating bullets handling those till past the seedling stage lol.
Feel Good Friday, whatcha feeling good fo?Every Friday is Good Friday brother.
That's too much dust. Does the exhaust go outdoors? If the exhaust is flex hose they easily get crushed or kinked and stop blowing the dust outside. I've mostly worked on gas dryers. They have a "thermal fuse" that melts if there's not sufficient air flow, and shuts down the heat. It's a $5 part on eBay.A few of the amazon reviews talk about the heating element going out quicker than expected but for $60 instead of $270 and since all the places i checked for an authentic replacement showed it being on backorder guess i will deal with it if/when it goes out! Did say they were good about replacing it when it fails!
He was probably like "I told myself I should have called in a dozen times, and here I am."
I paid $60 for the entire heating unit which contains the fuse and thermostat plus heating element! And no i checked the back hose and all the simple stuff before i disassembled the thing! Gonna do another YouTube search for how to clean all the internal places where lint can collect and build up! Like i said in a previous post there is a felt type seal that attaches on the outer lip of the drum and mine looks all old and worn down so may be leaking from there! Not paying almost $200 for a replacement tho if amazon doesn’t have them! No idea how but when i stuck my arm in the back vent area i found 2/3 of a toothbrush up inside there! No idea how it went thru the exhaust system to get stuck inside! That's too much dust. Does the exhaust go outdoors? Where/What is that?
HahahahaI'm exactly the same mate.. the reason why you will all see a lot of funky crosses coming out in the next few years. I bought at least 10k of beans from all companies in the industry! I wonder sometimes why I cannot stop when I see some nice crosses it's like well, why not get those too and use them someday
Cheers man, not so expensive now after all! Well deserved 1st spot in the contest mate
Haha I can imagine mate, great to see that happening! Well deserved that 2nd spot bro and enjoy the beans!
Yeah man, I think 7 up until now (3 grown by me, but I'm not the breeder myself) and I can definitely vouch for it, do your own selection and I'm sure you will find some gems which you'll grow for a long time! (yes take clones)
True that.. and I fully agree, but sometimes the extra spend is worth the seed and easily earned back if the bud is of the highest quality. I often spend 200-350 euro/dollar per 10pack of seeds to get those really special cultivars/terps. But yes, I'm a bit crazy when it comes to seeds, as I know there is enough in the market that is great quality for 1/5th of the price.
Anyways.. hope everything is having a good one today!
Peace out, Antonio![]()
