Knee is doing great. A little bit bruised but I can go up and down a set of stairs like a normal person. The sutures pinch a little and it's a little itchy so everything is healing well. I'll be out in the forest picking mushrooms before you know it.@Buzzard... how's your knee now the hospital anaesthetic has worn off....?...
I used to have issues understanding someone until I realised he was using text to speech, and the app was doing substitutions because of accent.In the early days of AFN I had a post that I couldn't make head nor tail of so I asked for help from other language staff.
Turns out he was a dyslexic Scotsman with a heavy accent..who wrote the way he talked.
Once we'd identified the problem... within a week we could all understand what he was typing....your brain flips to adapt to it.
I See in patterns.....I Feel them when they are Off...I might not be able to identify the problem immediately...but ...I know Something is off.

Funny how times change...when we first came to Spain all the cannabis clubs were run by the Dutch... really nice people in ours.
Then the Russians muscled in...and they carry guns..so the Dutch left..
Now it is the English muscling in....
