So I have bad torn rotator cuff injury that causes my right shoulder to dislocate if it gets hit a certain way or if I move my arm a certain way. I was outside checking the coolant level in my pickup just 10 minutes ago, and the hood suddenly dropped on me, hitting me square in the right shoulder, dropping me to the ground completely and dislocating my shoulder. If you want to talk about sudden incredible fear and panic, like that was a "holy shit what just happened" moment. Arm was hanging down inches past my shoulder where it should have been. I have no idea how I popped it back in but I sat there playing out in my head who to call to take me to the hospital and it just popped back in.

I got the bookcases modified to hide the line-sets now I just have to wait for someone to help Ms. MOG lift them up. No way I can do it with my back barely mended.

I cannot believe how quiet and comfortable this new heat pump/AC system is. It is whisper quiet inside and cannot hear it outside over the ambient urban sounds. So far it has only used ~ 12kWh per day. The swamp cooler uses 10kWh a day. The old A/C system used well over 30KWh a day. it looks like the solar system will be good for it and my electric car. I have used it both for heat and cooling. It was 92°F yesterday. The real test will be when it goes over 105°. The temps here have been wild this spring. 68° last week!
