No raccoons, but the restaurant owner was impressed and me a a couple of after dinner cocktails and a free desert! the last thing I needed at the time! With the long hair and beard, he kept calling me Harley Davidson all night

There actually are raccoons in Italy. Not indigenous, people brought them over as pets and for furs in the 50's and some of them got loose. Considered a nuisance species

They eat pistachios now...
