Don’t you have a rosin press…..? Have you tried decarbed rosin, that’s been converted to cbn for sleep (orally taken)? It works for my insomnia better than anything else I’ve tried…. :pass: Just a thought…
Yes, I have a press. I have used both rosin and etoh extract done for carts decarbed for cbn. To get the THC to CBN, I decarb it for 4x what is normally needed at a given temperature. I have never had the results analysed, so have no real measure of CBN content after that. When you decarb for CBN, how do you do it, especially the time at time used rather than if you were decarbing normally.

So far, I do not notice a whole lot of difference in effects between the cbn decarb I do and the same strain decarbed normally. However my sleep medicating is still a work in progress. I have never managed to find consistent sleep results no matter how the stuff is processed. I have tried vaped flower, vaped rosin (decarbed for CBN, normal decarb for thc, and not decarbed before vaping), and vaped carts (from etoh extract, decarbed for THC, and decarbed for CBN). Sometimes it puts me to sleep all night, sometimes puts me down until I re-dose in the night, and sometimes (not often) does not seem to work well at all. It would be nice to find consistent all night sleep results, but perhaps that is too much to expect. :pighug:

Here’s what I do….. you do need a small, oven safe vessel of some sort…. Found a very small bowl at Walmart that I use…..

Anyway, make rosin…. Use your best indica….

Next, in the bowl mentioned above, add the rosin, and make a tin foil lid…. Set the bowl with the lid on, on your rosin press plate that’s been preheated to 270f…..GENTLY close the rosin press so the top plate is touching the bowl…sandwiching the bowl in between….

Leave it for 70 minutes, then turn the press off, open the plates and remove….you’ll want to dump it into your final container while it’s still warm and viscous.

Dosing…… I dose at 6 pm for an 11pm bedtime…. I’ve played around, and found it takes a really long time to fully kick in….

I use my hot knife (dab tool) and put two globs (the most the tool will hold, twice) onto a small square of parchment paper, freeze that….then, using the hot knife again, pick up the frozen disc, drop it into my mouth and wash it down like a pill. The size of your dose may vary…..

Stepped on the brakes too hard and sent a piece of cast iron pipe into the windshield
You still use that stuff? I had no idea.

I, believe it or not, spent a stint as a plumber's helper one summer. My main task was to, while lying on my side with just enough space under the floor joists for my shoulders, use a sledge hammer and star chisel to cut a trench for about eight feet in a concrete pad for the cast iron pipe. Gotta keep it sloped eh? I then installed the pipe, including the oakum and lead. I think I got good at it, but I went back to school before I heard anything.

I think the main reason I was hired in the first place is that I was small enough to chisel the trench. There is no way that the guy that hired me could fit under the floor joists. It would have been handy if the peeps that built the addition knew about sewer pipe needing to be sloped...

Being small came in handy on the sailboat I no longer have too. A remarkable thing how being small enough to work in confined spaces can be at times. A boating buddy came over while I was working in a really tight spot in the bow one day and was truly frightened that I might not be able to get out, never mind how in hell I got in. There was a particular move required in both directions. I promised him to take my cell phone so I could call for help. It was never needed. :pighug:
