I'm trying not to brag about money for nothing. Dont wanna get the workers riled up.

We been basically in a 2 year drought, maybe 3. Never thought I'd be happy to be rained in for two weeks, and it still not enough.

It cooled off by me, and I didn't even get the hail. Just a bit of rain. All that talk about multiple tornadoes and baseball sized hail. I called off work today so my car wouldn't get destroyed.

It didn't rain for long, it was them giant raindrops that make u remember how heavy water is then like marble sized hail for a few minutes. Now just hot as hell again

Finally. We've been in a drought for like 3 years

I had an old 1000 gal. oil tank dug out of my front yard awhile back, it looked like fuckin Rommel rolled through, try to grow grass in the middle of a drought, it sucks.

Yeah same here, huge rain drops. It started raining by me and it was like a waterfall at first, then 20 minutes later blue sky.

It is suppose to cool off by Saturday though, the high is only 60°

We haven't even come close to 80 yet. I bet 75 is the high so far this year. Been raining for like 2 weeks straight

We could use some of that rain. We just got a pre-evacuation notice from the village due to 3 forest fires that are uncontained and within 15 miles of us. The notice says to have a bag packed with your important papers and necessities, and to check often for updates. Hopefully they are trying to scare people into staying away from here on the long weekend. Everyone wants to come camping and they show up in droves with their ATV's and head out into the forest on the trails. Those machines are responsible for a lot of the fires, people like to pull the spark arresters out of the exhaust to improve performance and sound real cool................They scare me.
