I just found out my favorite local lake for smallmouth bass fishing just enrolled ridiculous launch fees. $35/canoes/kayaks, $50 for boats under 16ft and $75 for boats over. It's smack dab in the richest area in town. That whole community has incomes of 500k+ per year. It says right on the sign that lake residents aren't required to pay. It's not a private lake, the boat launch is in shambles and everyone on that lake throws a fit if you fish anywhere near their house. This should be illegal.

My grandparents watched me during the workweek, my parents watched my kids, and I guess its my turn in the cycle.

Payback... .......I couldn't have done the work I did when my son was little without my mother.....

I need to take notes from your playbook, and leave the country.

I think that was more beneficial for the kids G-children.... when we lived in the UK..the local kids used to call hubby Growler....


We would have done exactly the same as you...... emergency cover..but hubby told the kids don't count on us for regular child care..like one or two days a week...coz we are going travelling....and we'll be away for months at a time.
