Yeah, it’s a great camping and recreation spot….there’s white water right there, plus hiking and mountain bike trails….far enough off the beaten path….

The mountains are bigger out there, then here in the eastern half. Bet the white water rafting beats the shit out of ours.

Snagged some goodies today! Grabbed 2 packs of Iceberg cause they SMACK!

I think people come from all over to kayak Ohiopyle and the surrounding areas…. Plus Ohiopyle has this big drop off, maybe 10-15 feet high…. It’s usually closed, but they open it up for general dumbassery one weekend a year….so that draws a crowd…

I always thought the Poconos area was really dismal in winter time with all the Deciduous trees looking like nothing but a bunch of sticks and a dead winter time.
I'd take one of those poor old company towns over someplace like Friggin Philly! I was so glad to leave the yards there! I can honestly say that was the worst place I've ever been stationed!
