i just got back from Minnesota this morning. I tried to keep up with LS in the late nights after all the graduation festivities were over, but I was always 25 or 30 pages behind when I nodded off. Crazy West African food had a lot of habanero pepper and red palm oil. Seafood boil, pepper soup, fried tilapia steaks,
waakye (beans & rice cooked with red sorghum leaf),
attieke (fermented cassava grits with veggies). Everything garnished with "
peppa stew" (fried habaneros and onions). It was so good I had 3 plates full. On the 17 hour train ride home my butt was on fire. I didn't get pics of everything, but here's a sample:
