Live Stoner Chat
Hey,
To all my US smoke buds!
Y’all pretty much know where I stand politically. But that’s just me, you are you and I do not, and this is not intend(ed) to influence you, it’s more of a public service announcement. Please take it as such.
If you are planning on attending any of the local festivities planned for this Saturday, or any other time, please be aware of how exposed you phone may be. I know my phone has everything about me on it and I would not want to share that with anyone, especially against my wishes.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has ruled that police officers can compel a suspect to unlock their phone using a fingerprint without violating the Fifth Amendment’s protection against self-incrimination. The same goes for facial recognition. IOW biometric. However, you cannot be compelled to prove the passcode, THAT would be a violation of the 5th amendment.
Just a word to the wise, in these insane times we don’t really know who the good guys are. It behooves us to do what we can to protect ourselves with the rights we still have.
Thanks for listening.
Peace,
WWW

Good Morfnoevight All you happy stoners!

Batteries are still good according to the indicator. I always store the probe with a drop or 2 of water in the cap, theres actually a little sponge disc in the bottom of the storage cap. So as long as that has some moisture in it I just pop it back on. Im gonna replace the probe and just go to 2 point calibration.
I always use KCL storage solution for storage. My probe stays in the reservoir 24/7/365 for however long it lasts. I take it out and clean/calibrate every 3 or 4 weeks. The probes last just as long as when I kept them in storage solution and just put in the res for readings. I have had them fail in 3 months or as long as almost 2 years. I used to keep a back-up on the shelf but the warranties would expire before I ever opened them. I had a bad brand new one but was out of date so I was out of luck.
I don't think you are supposed to use distilled water on pH probes. I thought it messed with the glass.
A quick rinse is not a problem but not good for storage - at least the Blue Lab probes I use.
U don’t have bottled waters in your house? Even some spring water in bottles is technically RO water! Read the bottle it says filtered by reverse osmosis on most! ;)
They add minerals back in for flavor. Have you ever tasted RO water, it is wet but not satisfying.
Unless it’s going into a reservoir ph is pretty pointless IMO!:rofl:
This is true most of the time yet I have seen some water reports that show water not suitable to irrigate with or drink for that matter. Growers should have at least a baseline idea of there water quality, it can effect your nutrient needs.
I play Solitaire when I need to knock my brain into neutral.... :headbang: ....

Afternoon @Lil Dab :bighug: @PinkyNotTheBrain :bighug:

I've just been to the house to get me hair cut...mobile hairdresser....I can feel the breeze rattling past me ears now........:headbang:.....but I need a shower...to get rid of the hair cuttings round me neck... it's making me itch...
I just made an appointment to get shorn. I always think I will let my hair get long and then when it gets long enough to tickle my inside ears I cannot stand it. Now I have to wait until next week to get it cut or maybe not ✂️

I play solitaire nearly every night before shutting down the PC and going to bed. It really helps me to stop thinking of all the day's topics.

How do u keep your stones so nice, mine get nasty over time.

dude, thoze are jus the parkin lot rockz & i don't do shit to em, except....u guessed -> park on em :coffee: ppp

Finally, a cola shot.
Features heat damage combined with a Potassium burn from ~10 days ago but frost is beginning to accumulate.

Afternoon all :smoke out:

I always use KCL storage solution for storage.
Apera only reccomends storing in kcl solution when the probe isn't used regularly and a drop of tap water in the storage cap to maintain the gel layer on the bulb but I think maybe this is planned obsolescence on their part because I've done this over and over and my probes seem to just start failing after a few months. I clean them regularly though I've never used specific cleaning solution and a soft bristle toothbrush.

This was pulled from the internet but on the laminated card in my case it says 1-2 drops of tap water. Maybe I will just use kcl solution but wouldn't that mean I need to recalibrate with every use because kcl solution is 4.0ph if Im not mistaken.
