Evening everyone I haven't been feeling the greatest recently but I'm not one to say anything. I have been having chest pain/discomfort/tightness of some sort and felt full of anxiety on the verge of panic attacks for a little while now. Finally went the dr after you all got on pinky yesterday. Good news is my heart test good so it's not that. Thought it was my thyroid medicine but labs look great for that doc thinking it's just anxiety that I've always had and then I manifest it into more. I haven't been smoking like I do normally do either cause that makes it worse. Hopefully got some meds that with help and we're doing some genetic testing to see what meds will work best for me. Just thought I'd give ya'll a heads up

Afternoon everyone, enjoying the start of a 3 day lay off.

I probably should have added context to this lay off. I got a 3 day suspension from work today. I set up envelope folding machines with inline flexograph printers and the person before me didn't clean his printers out. 35 year vet employee . It was the end of my shift and I wasn't staying an extra half hour to chip ink out of the pan because someone couldn't do their job. So what did I do, something real petty, since I've been complaining about this exact issue for about 5 months. Every day this happens so I said screw it. Not doing it anymore. Left a note that said a conscious decision was made to not clean black ink out of the printer knowing we were going to a different color, so I made the same conscious decision.

I know 2 wrongs don't make a right, but because of this, there's going to be a meeting and a new write up program specifically made for printer wash ups. So it sounds like being super petty is the way stuff gets changed around here.

Getting some stuff squared away so I didn't have time to lay it out before.

Hello my friends........I am back at home as the evacuation order and local emergency have been rescinded. The fire is still 9 kilometers away and remains uncontained, but they have made enough headway at our end to deem it no longer a threat. Rain and a change in wind direction gave them an opportunity to attack the fire directly and make significant gains. Thank you for your words of encouragement and Karma sent........I truly believe it was a factor. We remain ready to leave in a hurry as the threat will probably remain all summer. The fire will no doubt pop up again as it smolders for a long time in the peat bogs and will relight when conditions are right. The helicopters will be flying daily patrols looking for hot spots. I am heading for the medication station for dabs and a bowl.....you are all invited to join me............
