Modern automatic transmissions are controlled by solenoids controlled by the computer. You can maintain one properly with proper changes and the damn thing can still go bad because of the solenoids or the wiring harness or the computer.
when I bought my '97 Ram new, I got two blocks from the dealership and had 3 flat tires, accident at an intersection and the dam cop directed us all through a shitload of accident debris. Needless to say that was not covered under the warranty. Didnt have a mile on the thing and it was being loaded on a flatbed.
@Frankthetank I was not laughing at the time. I had a choice, buy all new tires on a truck I didnt even have the payment book fore, as of yet, or they wouod plug them for free, which they didnt have too. 11 plugs in 3 tires, thats how I learned what a broken steel belt in a tire is like.
