Was due for an oil change so I brought it to a chain place. Guy said the trans fluid looked fine. Truck only has 45k miles on it

Well, if you were close, I would throw a scanner on it and take it for a drive. I assume it doesn't have a check engine light. Next time you start it up check to make sure all those lights turn on.................if you have a conventional dashboard.
