Plant table...full sun....

Now if you wanna tell me if I stick my bum on that table I'm only gonna feel 30C....I'm here to say you are wrong......:headbang:.....

My girls are in full sun...that is what they sit in..not the shade......

Last season highest temp I recorded on the patio was 63C......:pass:
I understand that you are measuring surface temperatures that surround your plants. The rest of us are comparing air temperatures in the shade. The best way to see the temperature of your plant is to use an inferred sensor on the leaves. They will be much closer to the air temperature or lower because of transpiration. I slide down a metal slide once that burned my bum with blisters so I advise against sitting on that table.
Some of you have clearly never stood on a black shingled roof chasing yellow jackets around in a canvas beekeeper suit  I'll see if I can get a roof surface reading tomorrow :bong:
I have done a couple of roofs in the summer, the composition roofs were hot but nothing like the heavy cedar shake roof I did. We had to come down before 11:00 am because you just could not function it was so hot.

The rest of us are comparing air temperatures in the shade.
