My favorite cheese is Fiore Sardo, a wet smoked pecorino like hard cheese.
old crumbly cheddar, Camabazola blue for my treats. But just about any cheese is welcome on my table at least once.

Hope everyone is well.

Strange news, but news: I made a batch of tincture out of 2 zips. That was 6 months ago. I just took the last dose.

A more efficient means of consuming these meds probably does not exist.
I have tried, but so far, vaping concentrate does the sleep deed better than the tinctures I have made. Not done testing yet though.

Not bass all catch and release I do eat pan fish and sometimes a walleye but mostly perch goes in the freezer
Been a few since I caught or ate any of those. I found both perch and walleye very worthwhile. Nowadays living where I do, I have to sacrifice and settle for salmon and trout. Poor me eh? :crying:

Chased lake trout yesterday, one ~2lb released in unjustified optimism that we would catch some larger, but we didn't. My partner had one >5 lbs a few seconds from the net in my hand when it got loose. He took it hard, I think he was still muttering and shaking his head hours later. We are still figuring this stuff out. I used to do almost all of my fishing from the former sailboat, but alas I no longer have that fish supply, so rivers and lakes are the new venue, and not nearly as productive. :pighug:

I was once in 19 foot seas in a 19 foot boat, in the Chesapeake Bay…. We flew off the top of one of the waves and one of my passengers broke his pelvis when we landed (he came down on someone’s weapon)…. Then we got to do a medical litter (like a stretcher) transfer to a ship in the same 19 foot seas…..talk about scary…..I’m trying to hold the boat steady right next to a ship, while we bob up and down with the swells and waves, while a guy that’s strapped down to a litter gets handed from my boat to the ship…. If the timing wasn’t exact, or I couldn’t hold the boat steady, into the angry ocean that dude would have gone…to a certain death….:yoinks2::yoinks2::yoinks2::yoinks2::yoinks2::pass:
Rescues under those conditions are bloody complicated and difficult, and can end badly. Too many ways to get between large heavy moving things, as well as other hazards. Did your friend recover ok? A busted pelvis can be really bad news.

Meetings over, guests were gone, family was walking the dogs

I'm sitting here with my collection thinking "why don't I have a little of each separately, then a blend" like sampling in an ice cream shop but with obliteration.

(I wrote this last night and didn't post. Apparently my strategy worked)
Funny how that works. The other morning my vape hit the floor when I got out of bed. I must have fallen asleep before I stashed the vape on the side table. Ah yes, the various signs that the stuff worked well. :crying:

In the UK...Stowell Street is China Town.
We used to go in at 12 noon to eat on a Sunday and it was all Chinese diners.

All the menu was in Chinese.....But.....it was steaming trollies filled with bamboo baskets...so as they passed you just stopped them and they would show you what they had in the baskets and you'd get two or three...then the next trolley would come round.....

It was some of the best food we had..ever... :headbang: ...and nothing like you would normally get on a normal "Chinese" menu.

(I wasn't impressed with the chickens feet...but hubby ate them...)

Sounds wonderful. I love many if not all Asian foods, especially Thai. One of the highlights of my only trip to Thailand years ago was the food, . I do like my spicy foods I do.

OTOH, I was once served a fish dish in China (very high end dinner sponsored by some government types that the dearest had helped out previously while in Canada). The dish, it turned out, was "fish lips". Whatever, it was mildly spiced slimy fish cartilage cooked to a point one notch short of thick snot. As I was putting the first bite in my mouth my wife was busily tapping my leg with her foot to warn me - she knew. Somehow, I managed not to lose it, but it was really really close. The will power to get this down my throat stretched me to my uppermost limits. I think I was sweating. :crying:
