I think there would be less trauma if you were able to move all of it. I personally would hate to loose my old grows or the Tutorials I worked so hard on. That said I was naked when I got here and I have thrived!

We're definitely going to try to pull data; I just don't want to migrate the site over and have the same problems that have always plagued the site (it's not just about the Oops error; but refreshing the forum a bit, keeping us relevant in 2026+, etc.)

There are some simple things we can do that I think will have some meaningful impacts. Trying to reduce the amount of "click-through" to get into areas is a major one. I've been researching a lot of pain points for forums; and there's a few things hitting home that make me go "well, we do the same shit, this makes sense now."

Yeah but nobody is putting cottage cheese on french fries, let alone poutine. Like we would get cheese curds from the store as kids, that were curd-like, but way more firm (we used to call them cheese turds.)
