I could not find an exact picture of the polyester leisure suit I used to go Discoing but this is close and the shoes are almost identical with a bit more blue in the sheen and an inch taller. The bell on the pants was bigger. Those shoes got me out of a DUI because when I could not walk a straight line on a brick flowerbed curbing, I looked the cop in the eye and ask him if he could do it in those shoes. I thought he might die laughing and he agreed with me. I was stinking drunk but he let me go.

I don't think it's just the matter of maintaining a certain speed or velocity, but angles come into play. I feel like there should be some sort of strapped support involved. Like a forward facing harness. 5 point safety vest.
