I'm sure you go through your rosin relatively quickly but curious what is the shelf life when kept in the fridge? I'm looking into another form along with doing cobs. Are years possible without losing quality?

Personally, I found if kept sealed (double sealed to be safe) in the refrigerator it maintains quality up to a year with no change….if not gotten better…

Don’t overfill the jars because it’s active in there….and I’ve had it overflow in jars that were too full. I suspect it would maintain quality much longer, but I schmoked that shite!

Thanks so much for your information. Would these small Ball jars be ok to use or could they contribute moisture versus silicone.I have the ability to pump the air out making it an air tight seal. I’ve seen videos of commercial extraction companies storing in glass but never knew if they kept them in the fridge.

Gawwwd damn.

I was supposed to trip with friend Joe yesterday, but my booty call was messaging me asking to hang out.
Well she took all day; then she has to help her mom move some stuff, and she decides to rain check until today.
Well Joe never came over, and now he wants to come over today and eat mushrooms.
Well my smart ass, decides at 10 pm last night "no ass, no Joe, I guess I'll eat some mushrooms by myself."
Fast forward to about 3 am and I'm watching live streams of a bird feeder in Switzerland with a massive bowl of ice cream covered in strawberry syrup.
Woke up to a white t-shirt covered in red strawberry syrup.

Oh, dude, please live somewhere very close to me! That's exactly the kind of hanging out I could deal with over the weekend.

Anyway, this has reminded me of our important conversation about eggs yesterday. The mini-egg brownies are currently in the oven and will be enjoyed after dinner.

Yes those will totally work, as long as there’s enough volume of rosin…. Probably on the large side though.

But also, search online for dab/rosin containers. They’re what commercial places use. I found 15ml to be a decent size without being too big or small.

You don’t want silicone containers for anything other than short term use…

I just do what frank does I go through it fast so it's not in there for more then a month or two. I cover top with cellophane clear plastic wrap and put the lid on the terps do get better with age. The fridge holds the consistency that changes once left at room temps

Perfect for large amount you can get a oz of rosin in those easy I store mine in just a tad smaller jars with around a 1/2 oz in them. Glass is way better for long term storage. Silicone for short term storage I use glass for everything. I do have some silicones I use for day trips but that's it I typically give them to who ever I'm smoking with at the end of the day they get what's left
